Climate strategy
for business.
Avida Energy helps world-class companies lead their sector on energy and climate.
Large, geographically distributed enterprises whose energy decisions shape entire industries.
Avida Energy works with companies at the scale where energy and thermal systems define operations, capital exposure, and competitive position. The profile: $10B+ in revenue, $100M+ in annual energy spend, multinational operations.
The companies we work with operate in sectors where infrastructure decisions being made today will determine competitive position through the next decade. They have the internal sophistication to evaluate strategy — and the organizational complexity that makes executing it difficult.

- Grocery & Food Retail

Portfolio-level strategy, established before individual projects are scoped.
Avida Energy enters every engagement at the portfolio level — working with clients to build a framework that structures capital decisions before future projects are defined. In practice, clients are always midstream: active projects, existing commitments, immediate pressures. The work meets them there. Avida Energy delivers value on what matters right now while building the framework that gets ahead of what comes next.
The work spans thermal systems strategy, refrigerant transition and decarbonization, energy procurement and renewable strategy, and program oversight through implementation. The structure is always owner-side: no equipment to sell, no vendor relationships, no commercial interests shaping the recommendations made. The only money Avida Energy makes is from the client it is advising.
View our services →Business performance and climate progress are the same project. The companies that lead their sector through the next decade will be the ones that integrate both into the capital decisions they are already making.
The energy transition is reshaping the cost structures, regulatory environments, and competitive positions of every industry Avida Energy serves. Most large enterprises have not fully internalized the climate risk embedded in their operations. Because that risk plays out over years rather than quarters, it sits outside the normal cadence of capital decision-making — rarely surfacing in the rooms where those decisions are actually made.
The structural problem runs deeper. Large enterprises treat their commitment to the future of the business and their response to climate change as separate projects. Different teams. Different budgets. Different time horizons. The alignment between them — the fact that the systems and technology that grow the business are often the same ones that lead the industry on climate — gets lost in the complexity of running the organization. Avida Energy exists at that nexus.
